Program Accomplishments Drafter Part III
Part III of Form 990 asks you to describe what your largest program services actually accomplished during the year. Reviewers, funders, and the public read this section closely, so it should be specific and outcome focused: what the program did, who it served, and the results, ideally with numbers. This automation turns your short notes into a filing-ready Part III narrative.
How to use it
- Open the Program Service Accomplishments tool from the sidebar and enter your notes for each program (the activity, who was served, and what was achieved). The more concrete you are, the better the draft.
- Click "AI: draft my Part III narrative."
- The drafted narrative appears in an editable preview. Review and correct it, then export it for your return.
Its guardrails
- It uses only your facts. It will not invent programs, beneficiaries, dollar amounts, or results you did not provide.
- It marks gaps, it does not fill them. Where a number or detail is missing it inserts a clearly [bracketed placeholder] for you to complete before filing.
- It writes in the plain, factual style the IRS expects for Part III, not marketing language.
- You review it. The draft is a starting point, not a final filing.
Signing in
The drafter uses your Build Your Club account, so you need to be signed in. If you are signed out, the tool shows a sign-in link. Signing in also lets the tool sync your work across your devices.
